Stables Holiday Cottage - 2 Bedrooms

Set beside the fairways in a peaceful corner of Pearl Lake Country Holiday Park, Stables Cottage is full of original charm and character. Once part of the old estate buildings, it’s now a relaxed retreat for four (and the dog), just a short walk from the lake, golf course and woodland trails.

Inside, the space blends historic features with modern comfort – exposed stone walls, timber beams and snug corners, paired with central heating, double glazing and plenty of homely touches. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is generous and well equipped, with an oven, microwave, air fryer and American-style fridge freezer, plus a table that seats four with ease. The lounge is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating, a large TV and lovely views across the golf course. (Note, the wood burner is for decorative use only.)

Stables sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms: a king-size room on the ground floor and a twin room upstairs, reached via a steep, narrow staircase (which may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns). The large downstairs bathroom includes a full-size bath and a separate shower cubicle.

Outside, the cottage has its own private front garden with seating and offers a lovely place to linger with morning coffee or a book. Parking is right nearby.

Guests enjoy free access to both fishing and golf during their stay, with peaceful woodland paths and countryside walks right on the doorstep. The village of Shobdon is just a short stroll away, with a handy shop and a welcoming local pub.

• Early Arrival or Late Check-out? Let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
• Dog Friendly: We welcome up to two dogs in a pet-friendly property. £25 per stay (up to 2 dogs). Please include your dogs at the time of booking.
• Safety: The upstairs bedroom is unsuitable for people with mobility issues due to very steep “galley” stairs. There is low head room in the upstairs bedroom
• Facilities: You have free use of the facilities and activities at Pearl Lake, including golf and fishing. You’re welcome to use the amenities at our other parks too, but fishing may have a small extra charge.
